Retreat Terms, Conditions & Cancellation Policy
Effective as of 6/1/23
Please read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat, but we must prepare for the unexpected, so please be sure to take the time to read our booking terms and conditions, including our cancellation policy.
GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel (change or postpone) your booked retreat date, Jessica Energy does not offer refunds for any reason. However, if you cancel after full payment we may offer a credit in the amount of $4,005 towards a future retreat.
Deposits are required to secure the lodging and facilities. The places we are staying are in high demand, Casa Paloma was even recently featured in The New York Times as a must visit getaway! Securing these incredible locations to stay and call home while we’re away is why our deposits are non-refundable and are required to secure your reservation.
Your deposit ($3995) is due when you make your reservation. The deposit is non refundable and may not be credited toward another retreat. We recommend having travel insurance in case of any emergencies that would prohibit you from joining and cover your deposit.
The final payment ($4005) is due on November 7. If you cancel after the final payment, then that final payment may be credited toward a future event.
We will also gladly transfer your credit to the name of another person upon your arrangement of that transfer, should you not be able to make the retreat.
Please note that any credit dollar amount from a cancellation will be applied to the retreat’s current rate at time of rebooking.
Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early on your booked Jessica Energy retreat package.
Travel Insurance coverage is highly recommended to attend a Jessica Energy retreat. This will help cover you should you need to rearrange your travel or cancel your trip last minute. We know no one plans to miss a retreat, but ‘life happens’ and travel insurance can help cover you should you need to cancel your trip at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances.
We recommend checking out World Nomads Travel Insurance, or adding it on through your airline when booking your flights.
For many agencies, insurance must be purchased within 7 days of making your reservation.
For international: Medical assistance can be potentially costly overseas, so it is important to have insurance to cover these costs, should the need arise. You can purchase travel insurance for this and also check with your local health insurance providers to see what’s covered.
Please ensure your insurance covers you for all relevant activities that you will be engaging in, especially any sports like hiking, zip lining, etc. Feel free to reach out to Jessica Energy for the specifics of your retreat activities.
What happens if the country of visitation’s borders close on the date booked to come? Let’s face it, these days we need to be prepared for anything when planning a trip. If the country’s borders suddenly close and prevent you from joining the retreat you’ve booked, your payment amount will be held in credit for you to apply in full to any future retreat date and your travel insurance should cover any travel or flight interruption costs. We need to do this because we will not receive a refund for payments we have made for lodging, etc. in this event.
JESSICA ENERGY CANCELLATION POLICY
If Jessica Energy must cancel (not run) a booked retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full payment to another retreat package and date, or you may request a full refund of your payment to us, constituting a full settlement. Jessica Energy is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
